I can’t really watch the movies at work – I’ll check them out at home – but I like to see the pictures!

Oliver, if you like the (ambiguously gay) Okie Dokie band that recently headlined an area gymnasium, you should stop by Stratton Way sometime and pound away on my fancy Rock Band drum set! I recently had a three year old visit and he really had a good time. Since you’re family, I would actually plug it into the drum trainer for you. Rock and roll, yo! Unlike Grummy’s piano, I’d let you play to your heart’s content.

Charlotte, you’d better tell your daddy to get himself a big old whomping stick. He’s going to need it to chase away all the gorgeous 1 year old beefcakes that will be lining up outside your door. (Once they learn to crawl, that is.) You go get ‘em hot stuff!

Bruce, cheer up. There’s more corned beef hash waiting for you on your birthday. It’s only 9 months away, or 5 years in dog years. (OK, I’d be grumpy too.)

Nice job, Chris. Thanks for cutting into your video game time!

Sounds like fun, I'm sure Oliver would love it. Any chance you can turn the heat up above 50 degrees if he were to come over?

Hey! One of the most important events these last 6 weeks was my wedding reception -- where are those pictures, huh?
(no offense Oliver and the Okie Dokie band).

Oliver, you are an adorable little boy ... you can come turn on the bathroom fan at our house anytime you want.

Charlotte, you are blossoming into a lovely young woman. I think faux-hawk looks especially fetching on you ... no wonder you love those baths!

Can't wait until Christmas time.

Dear Oliver and Charlotte,

You guys are truly amazing, the best of the best, the meanest of the mean, and of course the sweetest of the sweet. Now that I'm officially old, I've noticed that we're all moving through time at about the same rate -- way too fast! You guys are growing up faster than GG & I can get out to see you, and we're growing old too fast to keep up. Who knows, maybe someday we'll meet in the middle. That would be nice.

Thank you for the videos. They are always great. Did you know there are easter eggs hidden in there? Not real eggs, but cyber eggs. In between some of the videos are other videos. If you click on the forward arrow directly above the movie, you can find hidden treasures of our real treasures!

Photowise, gotta love'm all. You guys sure have really great (grand) grandparents. I'm proud to be a small part of them. As far as standing in the sink, young man, I think your master plumber great-great-great grandfather "Pop Pop" would advise differently. In fact I can send you a copy of his business card if you'd like his personal confirmation. And Charlotte, you're just the sweetest little girl. But hey, no skinny dipping with your Daddy! You can do way mo betta than that.

Very nice turkey. You guys easily have me beat

And Bruce, right back at ya!

Love,
Poppy

I hate being the last to post. Everyone steals all my comments. Some things that weren't mentioned: I love the glasses! A little professor anyone? And there is one picture of Charlotte where the hair is strongly reminiscent of Oliver's hair in the "Remarkable hair" period in his past! Not the faux-hawk one..another one. I think Charlotte is turning into a Gerber baby.. very cute and appealing.
Halloween pictures are especially cute. I would give anything to have those two show up at my door for Halloween.
Bruce..what can I say except perfect caption. Molly sometimes has a similar expression but Bruce's face lends itself better to getting the point across!
Daddy is a good guy to give up a whole night to giving the WI connection so much viewing pleasure!
Oh, yeah, and NICE TREE. I like the addition of the candy canes actually. Wish the pics of the lights were a little better. They never are captured in a photo very well. Beautiful shaped tree.. perfect for the spot. Tell Oliver we have foot pedals here too.. for the tree and for the lights in the new room...SOO.. lots of ON-OFF action for him to engage in when he gets here. I can't wait for that time!
Love,
GG
P.S. Who is the 3 year old visitor at Uncle Tim's?

P.S. I think I'll be watching the videos over and over. I LOVE the "Oh wow, what's that noise?" one and the shaking baby one and the bath one and the dancing one.. and the thumb sucking one and the boots one. I guess there aren't any I don't love. :) Really, really like hearing that "Oh wow, what's that noise?" though...probably my fave.

I had to sort through about 500 pictures, thus some didn't make the cut. I'll bring the computer home over Xmas break and you can get some of those pics if you'd like.
