Dear Oliver,

Poppy here.

Thank you for all the very nice reminders of your visit here at Easter, and for ones of times we couldn't be there. Wish we could.

I'm glad you liked the trains that your GG thought to get. If you come here during the work week (yeah, I know, no one thinks I work), we can watch and hear trains from my office window. And the whistles are really loud.

We drove around the lake (Monona) today to go to a restaurant to dine with with Katie and Jason. Looked like the fish were biting as we drove past. Maybe we can do a little fishin' when you come again. Your Pappy is not the trophy fisherman (ask him about ice fishing), but at least I am.

Thanks again for coming, and for posting on the blog, and for just doing what you do best.

Love,
Poppy

Master Oliver,

I would like to thank you for your participation in our Easter Day festivities. I hope you enjoyed the vastly superior choo-choo setup in-place upon your arrival. I’m sure it did not escape your notice that the tracks all lined up properly and made appropriate use of the train-stop features. I’m told others do not lay rail as nicely.

I enjoyed your pictures and am delighted that there are no more candid shots of your father doing his business in the bathroom. Some things are better left unseen.

Keep on keeping on, little Mac. We’ll see you again soon.

Dear Oliver,
What can I say? You're adorable. I loved it when you started shaking when you saw the train set-up (nice work, UT) ... it was so cute. I think you'll be a marvelous conductor one day ... but then I might get mad because you're making me late for work when I need to wait for the train (just a friendly warning).
I can't wait to see you and your cute face again!!
Love,
Aunt Katie
